Milestone Reached in Book’s March to the Press

Another milestone for a book—Dare I Call It Murder?: A Memoir of Violent Loss—the naysayers said would not (and in some cases “should not”) be published.

larry_books_0749_smGalley proofs for the hardback and paperback editions arrived this week and they look good. Tim Brittain did a great job with the covers. A few minor details inside to attend to—details that 99% would never notice. I even showed one to my wife, Janis, an eagle-eyed proof reader. She furrowed her brow and said, “What am I supposed to see?”

Still on schedule to release the book on July 9—25 days and counting.

News release about my book is making the rounds this week under to two headlines, one with a Seattle focus (my hometown, once upon a time) . . .

Mystery of Seattle Couple’s Deadly Sailing Cruise Solved? — Son Reveals Untold Story in 35-year-old Cold Case

. . . and one with a San Diego focus (my hometown today):

San Diego Man’s Untold Story in 35-year-old Cold Case Involving Parents’ Deaths Aboard Sailboat — Mystery of Seattle Couple’s Deadly Sailing Cruise Solved?

I will post another excerpt next week.

Many thanks to all of you who have already ordered books, and those of you sharing the links on Twitter, Facebook, blogs, et al. Let’s turn this baby into bestseller.
