Many thanks to the Poway Literary Society for selecting Dare I Call It Murder?: A Memoir of Violent Loss for its April book selection AND for such a warm reception at last night’s meeting.

The members asked excellent questions about the book and related topics, and that led to a cogent, if not somber, discussion of violent loss and the impact it has not only on family members but friends, neighbors, and a community at large.
For those of you who are members of a book club, I would be honored to have Dare I Call It Murder?: A Memoir of Violent Loss selected. If you’d like me to attend your book club meeting, I’d be happy to do so, within reason travel-wise. Or maybe we could connect via Skype.
